It's so important to take a moment for yourself and incorporate calming strategies into your daily routine, like mindful breathing, gentle movements, body scan meditation, and loving-kindness meditation. Whether you're already familiar with mindfulness strategies or it's all new to you, these 2-3 minute sensory-emotional activities are meant to help you stay calm while you're supporting your sensory-emotional child.
